The Druck PTC255 series of premium temperature calibrators is distinguished by its unparalleled performance and exceptional ease of operation. Thanks to the intuitive menu structure, all necessary inputs can be made quickly and easily. The large touch screen provides ample space to clearly display reference, target, and device-under-test temperatures. At the end of a calibration process, the PTC255 series automatically generates the complete calibration certificate.
Here are the main differences between PTC255 and PTC255i:
Integrated measuring instrument (PTC255i only)
The PTC255i includes a built-in measuring system for resistance thermometers (RTDs), thermocouples, and electrical standard signals (mA, V, switch tests).
With the PTC255, these signals must be measured using an external measuring instrument.
Automated calibration
The PTC255i enables fully automatic calibration and certificate generation, as measurement and comparison are performed directly within the device.
The PTC255 requires manual data recording and comparison with the calibrator.
Workflow & efficiency
PTC255i: Significantly simplified workflows, simultaneous testing of multiple sensors, fewer external devices required.
PTC255: More work steps and additional hardware needed, but more flexible for users who already employ external precision measuring instruments.
PTC255 = pure temperature calibrator, PTC255i = temperature calibrator with integrated measuring system for fully automatic calibrations.
