EX-VCM301 Mechanical Pressure Switch -250…+100 mbar | FEMA Pressure Switch

  • Mechanical Pressure Switch
  • Adjustment Range: -250…+100 mbar
  • Switch Differential: 2…25 mbar
  • Adjustment Range: 1
  • Maximum Pressure: 5 bar
  • The Ex-VCM and Ex-VNM series are calibrated for falling pressure.
  • The adjustable switching pressure on the scale corresponds to the switching point at falling pressure.
  • The reset point is higher by the amount of the switching differential.
  • Suitable for vacuum monitoring in hazardous (explosive) areas.

Ex-VCM / Ex-VNM Vacuum Switches

FEMA vacuum switches measure the pressure difference relative to atmospheric pressure. The reference point “zero” on the device scale corresponds to the prevailing atmospheric pressure.

Ex-VCM / Ex-VNM vacuum switches measure the pressure difference relative to atmospheric pressure. All switching pressure ranges and the corresponding scale graduations on the switching devices are specified as the pressure difference between the prevailing atmospheric pressure and the selected switching pressure. The reference point “zero” on the device scale corresponds to the prevailing atmospheric pressure. The devices feature a robust housing made of seawater-resistant GD Al Si 12 die-cast aluminum.

Certifications

  • SIL2 according to IEC 61508-2
  • IBExU12ATEX1040 according to ATEX 2014/34/EU
  • IECEx IBE 14.0077
