The SITRANS FM MAG 3100 P is an electromagnetic flow sensor designed for use in the chemical industry, process industry and other demanding industrial applications. The sensor is available for nominal sizes from DN 15 to DN 300 or ½” to 12″, covering a wide range of typical pipe sizes.
Thanks to its fully welded construction, the SITRANS FM MAG 3100 P offers a robust design for harsh operating environments. Its chemical resistance and the availability of suitable liners and electrodes allow it to be used with a variety of process media. A high-temperature version is available for applications with media temperatures up to 150 °C / 302 °F.
A key feature of the sensor is the integrated SENSORPROM technology. It enables automatic upload of sensor settings and calibration data to the transmitter. This simplifies commissioning, supports easier component replacement and increases operational reliability. The sensor is also designed for convenient on-site performance verification.
The SITRANS FM MAG 3100 P is approved for use in hazardous areas and complies with the requirements of the EC Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU. The sensor length complies with ISO 20456. Optional IP68 / NEMA 6P protection is available either ex works or as a field retrofit.
