DatasheetThe SITRANS LR500 series comprises 80 GHz radar level transmitters for measuring ranges up to 120 m (393 ft). They are suitable for the continuous monitoring of liquids, slurries, and bulk solids in storage and process vessels with high temperature and pressure values.
The SITRANS LR530, in the encapsulated antenna with flange connection version, enables continuous monitoring of liquids and slurries for measuring ranges up to 120 m (394 ft). The PTFE lens and the integrated seal are easy to clean and ideal for highly corrosive media.
The radar level transmitters of the SITRANS LR500 series integrate a graphical, local user interface for easy setup and operation via an intuitive quick start wizard. The echo profile display supports diagnostics.
The radar beam cone is narrow and focused thanks to the 80 GHz frequency. This allows the use of smaller antennas and reduces sensitivity to internals.
The radar level transmitters of the SITRANS LR500 series exhibit excellent measurement and repeatability accuracy in media with a low dielectric constant. The very short response times are ideal for process control applications.
