The Additel ADT295 Field Device Communicator is a versatile, all-in-one solution for configuring, calibrating, diagnosing, and managing intelligent field instruments in industrial process applications. Supporting HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, and PROFIBUS PA communication protocols, it is designed for use with pressure and process transmitters, valve positioners, and a wide variety of other smart field devices.

Free DD Library and Firmware Updates

Built-in Wi-Fi allows technicians to update the DD libraries and firmware directly on the communicator. Additel provides these updates free of charge, without subscriptions, additional license fees, or mandatory support contracts.

Integrated Electrical Calibration and Loop Diagnostics
The ADT295 combines advanced field communication with precise electrical measurement and calibration capabilities. It supports autoranging voltage measurement, current measurement, current output, and integrated 24 V loop power.
The built-in loop supply provides up to 30 mA, allowing compatible transmitters to be powered directly during testing. For many maintenance and calibration procedures, this eliminates the need for external power supplies, resistors, or additional accessories.
With current measurement accuracy of 0.01% of reading + 1.5 µA, the ADT295 is suitable for demanding process signal verification and testing of analog input and output cards.
Pressure Calibration with Optional ADT161 Module
When connected to an optional Additel ADT161 Digital Pressure Module, the ADT295 can also be used for pressure transmitter calibration.
The communicator enables simultaneous communication with the device under test and acquisition of reference pressure measurements from the connected module, streamlining comparative calibration and reducing maintenance time.
The ADT161 family offers multiple pressure measurement configurations, including gauge and differential pressure versions. Depending on the selected module, pressure ranges extend up to 60,000 psi (4,200 bar), with several accuracy options available.
Intuitive 5-Inch Touchscreen Interface
The ADT295 features a bright 5-inch color touchscreen designed for clear visualization of device parameters, measurements, and diagnostic data.
Physical navigation buttons are also included, allowing technicians to operate the device using either the touchscreen or keypad. Both control methods are compatible with gloves.
Adjustable backlighting and selectable light and dark display themes ensure good readability in a wide range of lighting conditions. The intuitive menu structure is optimized for real-world technician workflows.
