Crowcon DuoIQ – Compact Dual-Gas Monitor for Personal Protection
The Crowcon DuoIQ is a compact and rugged portable gas detector designed for the simultaneous monitoring of up to two gas hazards. It provides reliable personal protection in applications where detecting two gases is essential while equipment size and operating costs need to be optimised.
With a choice of sensor technologies, a rechargeable battery, simple one-button operation and Bluetooth® and NFC connectivity, the DuoIQ is suitable for a wide range of applications in general industry, energy, chemical and petrochemical plants, water and wastewater facilities, maintenance and service operations.
Two Gases – One Compact Device
The DuoIQ enables two gases to be monitored using a single personal gas detector. Depending on the configuration, electrochemical, infrared (IR), pellistor and long-life oxygen sensors are available.
The instrument supports the detection of oxygen, toxic and flammable gases, allowing the DuoIQ to be configured for specific applications and gas hazards.
Rugged Design for Industrial Applications
With a 6 metre drop test and IP66 and IP68 ingress protection, the DuoIQ is designed for demanding working environments. Visual, audible and vibrating alarms provide clear warning when hazardous gas concentrations are detected.
The instrument also supports low and high alarms as well as TWA and STEL exposure limits.
Extended Battery Life and Fast Charging
Battery life depends on the installed sensor configuration. With a toxic/O₂ configuration, the DuoIQ provides up to 7 days of continuous operation or up to 20 working days based on 8-hour shifts.
The rechargeable battery reaches approximately 80% charge in 2 hours and can be fully charged in less than 3 hours.
Crowcon Connect – Connected Gas Detection
Optional Bluetooth® and NFC connectivity enable the DuoIQ to integrate with Crowcon’s digital ecosystem. Crowcon Connect provides centralised access to device and safety information for improved fleet and compliance management.

Automatic Testing with IQhub
