The sensor detects the physical oil characteristics as well as their temporal change. After a learning phase, the sensor calculates the temperature-compensated value based at 104 °F on the viscosity and permittivity. Intelligent algorithms evaluate the oil condition and oil life. Events that occur suddenly are recognized immediately and can be output as an alarm. The sensor offers optimal protection against machine failures and downtimes. Maintenance intervals can be adjusted individually.
