DPS Differential Pressure Switch for ventilation and air conditioning systems (not for combustible gases) is designed for filter, fan, or airflow monitoring in climate and ventilation systems, tested according to the EU Gas Appliance Directive EU/2016/426 and DIN EN 1854. The pressure medium is air, as well as non-combustible and non-aggressive gases. The plastic connection piece has an outer diameter of 6 mm for a measurement hose with an inner diameter of 5 mm. Connection P1 is for higher pressure, P2 is for lower pressure. The membrane made of sintered silicone is resistant to outgassing. The switching mechanism is on the P2 side.
