The pressure monitors of the DWAM and DWAMV series are particularly suitable for maximum pressure monitoring in steam and hot water systems. The pressure monitor is a special design with a self-monitoring pressure sensor, built in accordance with the Pressure Equipment Directive PED 2014/68/EU. It can be used as a pressure monitor or pressure limiter for maximum pressure monitoring in systems according to TRBS DIN EN 12828 and in systems according to DIN EN 12952-11 and DIN EN 12953-9. It is available with or without adjustment. The device has a robust housing made of seawater-resistant die-cast aluminium. DWAM types are pressure monitors without switching differential adjustment for maximum pressure monitoring; DWAMV types are pressure monitors with switching differential adjustment for maximum pressure monitoring.
Features and benefits
- The pressure monitors and safety pressure limiters are calibrated so that switching takes place at the defined switching pressure when the pressure rises.
- The reset point at falling pressure is lower by the amount of the switching differential or, for pressure limiting devices, by the pressure drop specified in the table. The scale value corresponds to the upper switching point.
- Burst pressure for all types ≥ 100 bar, verified by TÜV testing.
Certifications
- DVGW test certificate: EC type examination according to the Gas Appliances Regulation EU/2016/426 and DIN EN 1854.
