The SITRANS FM MAG 1100 F is an electromagnetic flow sensor for hygienic and demanding applications in the food industry, beverage industry and pharmaceutical industry. The sensor is specifically designed for processes where hygienic design, reliable measurement values and easy cleaning are essential.

The flow sensor is available in sensor sizes from DN 10 to DN 100 or 3/8″ to 4″. Thanks to its mechanical design with a wide range of sanitary process connections, the SITRANS FM MAG 1100 F can be flexibly integrated into various hygienic piping systems.

The sensor housing is made of stainless steel AISI 316L / 1.4404 and is designed for typical requirements in hygienic process plants. Its sanitary design makes it suitable for systems with CIP and SIP cleaning. The jet-water-protected housing with IP67 / NEMA 6 protection supports reliable operation even in environments with regular cleaning procedures.

The sensor is equipped with SENSORPROM technology. This enables automatic upload of start-up settings and calibration data to the transmitter. As a result, commissioning is simplified and component replacement becomes easier. An optional IP68 / NEMA 6P version is available either ex works or as a field retrofit.

The complete flowmeter consists of the SITRANS FM MAG 1100 F sensor and a corresponding transmitter, such as SITRANS FM MAG 5000, MAG 6000 or MAG 6000 I. The flexible communication concept allows integration into different automation systems, including HART, PROFIBUS DP/PA, Modbus RTU/RS485 and FOUNDATION Fieldbus H1.
