Dynisco LCR7000/7001/7002 Laboratory Capillary Rheometers

The Dynisco LCR7000/7001/7002 Series consists of laboratory capillary rheometers for sophisticated rheological material characterization. The instruments are designed for precise measurement of melt viscosity, shear rate, shear stress and other material properties, making them suitable for research, development, quality control and material testing applications.

The LCR Series combines high measurement accuracy with versatile evaluation capabilities. Digital calibration, precision servo-drive technology, adaptive PID temperature control and advanced software allow complex test procedures to be performed reliably. Depending on the model, different barrel, force measurement and pressure measurement configurations are available.

LAB KARS software enables test data to be acquired, evaluated and documented. The software supports Bagley and Rabinowitsch corrections, Carreau, Modified Cross, Power Law and polynomial curve fits, as well as evaluations of shear rate dependence, time-at-temperature relationship, critical shear stress and intrinsic viscosity.

Model Description Options for Special Requirements
LCR7000 Capillary rheometer with load cell, cleaning and operating tools and one tungsten carbide orifice. Corrosion-resistant alloy barrel for corrosive materials such as PVC; tungsten carbide dies with a wide range of diameters and L/D ratios; laser micrometer for measuring die swell as the extrudate exits the die.
LCR7001 Capillary rheometer with load cell, barrel-mounted pressure transducer and long barrel, including cleaning and operating tools and three tungsten carbide orifices. Corrosion-resistant alloy barrel for corrosive materials such as PVC; tungsten carbide dies with a wide range of diameters and L/D ratios; melt pressure transducer mounted just above the die to reduce frictional and barrel pressure effects; laser micrometer for die swell measurement.
LCR7002 Dual-bore capillary rheometer with barrel-mounted pressure transducers, cleaning and operating tools and four tungsten carbide dies. Designed for advanced testing with two pressure transducers and broad die configuration options. Suitable for more detailed material analysis and extended rheological evaluations.

    The Dynisco LCR7000/7001/7002 Series consists of laboratory capillary rheometers for sophisticated rheological material characterization. The instruments are designed for precise measurement of melt viscosity, shear rate, shear stress and other material properties, making them suitable for research, development, quality control and material testing applications.

    The LCR Series combines high measurement accuracy with versatile evaluation capabilities. Digital calibration, precision servo-drive technology, adaptive PID temperature control and advanced software allow complex test procedures to be performed reliably.
