GRAETZ GW-G Radiation Measurement Kit for Fire Brigades and Emergency Services

The GRAETZ GW-G Radiation Measurement Kit is a specially configured set of radiation protection equipment for fire brigades and other civil defence and disaster response organisations. The configuration is based on the requirements of DIN 14555-12 and the German fire service regulation FwDV 500 for incidents involving radioactive materials.

The kit combines the necessary radiation measuring, warning and dosimetry instruments in a coordinated configuration. The equipment is housed in practical and robust cases, allowing safe transportation and rapid deployment at the incident site.

Radiation Measurement Equipment for Emergency Response

During incidents involving radioactive materials, emergency personnel need to monitor both their personal radiation exposure and the radiation situation in the surrounding area. They must also be able to identify potential radioactive contamination. The GRAETZ GW-G combines the necessary measuring and warning instruments in a coordinated system.

The configuration for equipping a hazardous materials vehicle in accordance with DIN 14555-12 includes electronic and passive dosimeters, a dose rate measurement system, a dose rate warning instrument and a contamination monitor. The equipment is complemented by an additional dose rate measurement system with a telescopic probe.
