GRAETZ GW-G NRW Radiation Measurement Kit for Measurement Control Vehicles

The GRAETZ GW-G NRW Radiation Measurement Kit is a specially configured set of radiation protection equipment for measurement and emergency response teams of fire brigades, civil defence and disaster response organisations. The configuration is designed for equipping a measurement control vehicle based on the NRW concept.

The equipment combines personal dosimetry, dose rate measurement, dose rate warning and contamination monitoring in a coordinated configuration for radiation emergency response. A gamma warning lamp is also included.

For Radiation Measurement and Emergency Response

During incidents involving radioactive materials, emergency personnel must be able to perform a variety of radiation measurement tasks reliably. These include monitoring personal radiation exposure, measuring dose rates, providing warnings of elevated radiation levels and detecting radioactive contamination.

The GRAETZ GW-G NRW combines several proven GRAETZ radiation protection instruments in a robust carrying case. An additional dose rate measurement system with telescopic probe enables measurements to be taken from a greater and therefore safer distance from the radiation source.

Product Highlights

  • Configuration based on the NRW concept
  • Designed for equipping measurement control vehicles
  • Suitable for fire brigades, civil defence and disaster response organisations
  • Electronic and passive personal dosimetry
  • Dose rate measurement
  • Warning of elevated dose rates
  • Detection of radioactive contamination
  • GRAETZ GWL10m gamma warning lamp
