Dynisco LMI Series Melt Flow Indexer

The Dynisco LMI Series Melt Flow Indexer is a test instrument for characterizing plastics and polymer materials. Developed from customer feedback, the LMI combines modern touch-screen operation with enhanced options for data acquisition, automation and repeatable test procedures.

The LMI is capable of delivering a broad range of data that includes not only melt index values, but also shear stress, shear rate, viscosity and apparent melt density, depending on the selected test conditions. This makes the instrument suitable for quality control, laboratory work and material development applications in the plastics industry.

Available options include a high-precision digital encoder for piston displacement measurement, a Force Packer for consistent material packing, a pneumatic weight lift system with stackable weights and LaVA Suite software for test data analysis and documentation. USB connectivity supports data storage, scale integration, networking and printing functions.
