Three advantages in one housing
The combination of both types of ignition protection in the field operating device offers three major advantages:
- Easy modification and commissioning of the analytical device thanks to terminals in the Ex e housing
- High availability, since the Ex d housing does not usually have to be opened on site
- Less maintenance due to quick replacement of connection components
The pressure-resistant encapsulated housing of the field module contains an OXYMAT analysis module with an extended temperature range of up to +60 °C and IP 65 class protection. This makes operation in harsh environments a possibility. The uniform operating concept of the SIPROCESS GA700 simplifies operation, and because the field operating device and field module are mounted separately on site, it also offers greater flexibility.
