The SITRANS FX300 is a vortex flowmeter from the SITRANS FX series for reliable flow measurement of steam, gases and liquids. The device is suitable for measuring industrial steam, gases as well as conductive and non-conductive liquids and can be used as a compact or remote version depending on the application.
A key advantage of the SITRANS FX300 is its integrated pressure and temperature compensation. This enables precise flow measurement even under changing process conditions. The integrated temperature compensation is suitable, for example, for saturated steam and enables accurate mass measurement without the need for additional pressure and temperature transmitters.
The device supports direct measurement of mass, standard volume flow and energy. This makes the SITRANS FX300 suitable not only for standard volumetric flow measurement, but also for applications where energy or mass flows need to be measured. With suitable configuration, the device can also be used to measure the free air delivery of a compressor.
The robust, fully welded stainless steel construction provides high corrosion, pressure and temperature resistance. The maintenance-free design, minimal pressure drop and immediate readiness for operation through the Plug & Play function simplify commissioning and operation. Two-wire technology with HART communication enables easy integration into industrial automation and control systems.
The SITRANS FX300 is available in several designs. These include versions with flange, sandwich design and dual transmitter. The devices can be used as compact or remote versions, allowing flexible adaptation to different plant conditions.
