The models HT77N and the innovative HT78 are current clamps designed for highly accurate measurements of very small currents in the µA and mA range.
These leakage current clamps are primarily used for troubleshooting circuits where the RCD (residual current device) repeatedly trips unintentionally,
for example due to insulation faults or stray leakage currents.
The HT78 also features an optional low-pass filter to eliminate harmonic components during measurements,
as well as a DC analog output for connection to an external data logger.
The extremely large clamp opening (suitable for cable diameters up to 108 mm) provides users with a wide range of possible applications.
