The SMART S-MS MED from Sensitron is designed specifically for use in marine environments, compliant with Lloyd’s Register regulations, and is SIL2 certified. It also has options for both catalytic and infrared sensors for the best possible detection of flammable gases, at land or sea.

This SIL2 certified fixed gas detector was made specifically for the marine industry, designed and certified to meet with the extreme environments of the marine industry and comply with regulatory requirements.

The system has been certified by the Lloyd’s Register in accordance with MED/3.54 Regulation and is SIL2 hardware and SIL3 software, with a redundant system also the hardware is SIL3.
