Dynisco TI422J Adjustable Thermocouple

The Dynisco TI422J is an adjustable thermocouple for temperature measurement in extrusion applications. It is designed as a flexible alternative for applications where the immersion length of the sensor must be adjusted quickly and easily to suit different installation requirements.

The thermocouple can be specified either with a bayonet cap on an 8″ spring to allow up to 7″ of adjustable immersion, or with a bayonet cap on the flexible armor to allow the full 8″ length to be used as adjustable immersion. This makes the TI422J suitable for a wide range of standard extrusion measurement tasks.

The TI422J is designed for a temperature range from 0…900 °F and uses a fiberglass insulated element. It supports versatile application requirements and helps protect the wire in industrial environments. Dynisco temperature thermocouples are designed and manufactured to applicable ISA standards, with accuracy traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).
