Dynisco DYKE Melt Temperature Probe

The Dynisco DYKE Series melt temperature probes have been designed especially to meet the requirements of the plastics industry. Their flexible design allows use in extrusion and injection molding processes. The series provides a rugged solution for temperature measurement in polymer processing equipment and is suitable for demanding process conditions.

The mounting thread is compatible with the threads used for Dynisco melt pressure transducers. Therefore, the DYKE Series is ready for use in most extrusion systems. As an alternative to the DYMT Series, the DYKE Series offers the possibility of thermal insulation of the housing. The sensor tip is conical and can be chemically insulated from the housing.

The temperature probes are available with different thermocouples or RTD versions. Depending on the configuration, the electrical connection is made via an IEC connector for thermocouples or a DIN connector for RTD elements. The standard stem length is 152 mm, with other lengths available on request. Use in hazardous environments is possible with suitable accessory equipment.
