Dynisco SPX4222 / SPX4622 Smart Pressure Transmitters

The Dynisco SPX4222 and SPX4622 Series are variable, smart 2-wire pressure transmitters with a 4…20 mA output signal. They have been developed specifically for use in hazardous areas and are optionally available with a HART™ interface. This makes the transmitters particularly suitable for production plants in the plastics and chemical industries where reliable pressure measurement, high noise immunity and flexible parameterization are required.

The transmitters are certified according to ATEX II 2 (1) G 100a with intrinsic safety EEx ia IIC T4/T6. Versions with HART™ interface can also be supplied for use outside hazardous areas. The simple 2-wire connection enables cost-effective installation, while signal transmission remains reliable even in environments with high electromagnetic interference.

All SPX4222 and SPX4622 models feature a sensing tip with 1/2″-20 UNF connection thread for installation in standard mounting holes. The devices are available with various connections, including connector versions for field use. Optional integrated, replaceable thermocouples or Pt100 elements are available for simultaneous temperature measurement close to the pressure sensing diaphragm.
