Dynisco SPX4502 Pressure Transmitter
The Dynisco SPX4502 is a variable, smart 2-wire pressure transmitter with 4…20 mA output signal for low-pressure ranges. The model was developed specifically for applications where low process pressures must be measured reliably. With its large diaphragm and flange mounting, the SPX4502 is particularly suitable for production plants in the plastics and chemical industries.
The transmitter is optionally available with a HART™ interface and can be supplied as an intrinsically safe version for explosion-hazardous areas. The ATEX certification II 2 (1) G ATEX 100a with intrinsic safety EEx ia IIC T4/T6 enables use in corresponding field applications. At the same time, the 2-wire connection provides simple and cost-effective wiring, even in high-interference environments.
All SPX4502 models feature a flange measuring head with a standard length of 51.6 mm and a low-pressure diaphragm with a diameter of 23.6 mm. The device is available with various connections, including connector versions for field use or weatherproof cable outlets. The wetted parts are made as standard of DyMax™ coated 15-5 PH stainless steel; Hastelloy C-276 and Inconel 718 are available as options.
