Dynisco SPX 4-Series Pressure Transmitters

The Dynisco SPX 4-Series includes smart 4…20 mA pressure transmitters for general melt pressure measurement and process pressure measurement in hazardous locations. These amplified transmitters are designed for direct connection to distributed control systems, PLCs, computers and similar high-level control devices. In many applications, this eliminates the need for external signal conditioning.

The SPX 4-Series is available with a variety of process and electrical connections for different installation requirements. Depending on the model, accuracies down to ±0.25 % are available. The pressure transmitters provide precise and repeatable measurements, a wide selection of pressure ranges and rangeability up to 6:1 turndown.

Configurations for hazardous locations are available with ATEX / IECEx intrinsically safe approval. Optional HART™ communication enables remote configuration and parameter adjustment. In addition, optional thermocouple or RTD configurations are available to provide melt temperature measurement in addition to pressure measurement.
