Dynisco SPX4222 / SPX4622 Pressure Transmitters
The Dynisco SPX4222 and SPX4622 Series include variable, smart 2-wire pressure transmitters with 4…20 mA output signal. The devices were specifically developed for use in explosion-hazardous areas and are optionally available with a HART™ interface. This makes them particularly suitable for production plants in the plastics and chemical industries where reliable pressure measurement, high noise immunity and flexible communication are required.
The pressure transmitters are certified according to ATEX II 2 (1) G 100a with intrinsic safety EEx ia IIC T4/T6 and, depending on the version, can also be supplied for use outside explosion-hazardous areas. The 2-wire connection enables simple and cost-effective wiring. At the same time, the robust signal transmission allows use in harsh field environments, even when unshielded connection cables are used.
The SPX4222 and SPX4622 models feature a sensing tip with 1/2″-20 UNF connection thread for installation in standard mounting holes. The sensors are suitable for process temperatures up to 400 °C and are available in pressure ranges from 0…17 bar to 0…2000 bar. Optional integrated replaceable thermocouples or Pt100 elements are available for simultaneous temperature measurement close to the pressure sensing diaphragm.
