The Dynisco Echo™ Series includes economical melt pressure sensors for plastics extrusion and general melt pressure measurement. The sensors offer a strong price-performance ratio and are designed for common requirements in plastics processing. With an accuracy of ±0.5 % FS and repeatability of ±0.2 % FSO, they provide reliable measurements for process monitoring and control.
Echo sensors are available with several output signals, including mV/V, 0…10 VDC and 4…20 mA. This allows flexible integration into existing control systems, displays and readout instruments. The available configurations cover common extrusion applications and make it easy to select the appropriate sensor for different pressure ranges and electrical connection types.
The diaphragms of the Echo Series are supplied as standard with a titanium aluminium nitride coating. This TiAlN coating provides enhanced resistance and is significantly superior to titanium nitride coating. An integrated temperature sensor is optionally available as Type J or K thermocouple or Pt100. The Echo Series is available with 1/2-20 UNF or M18 process connections and is supplied with a 2-year warranty.
