Dynisco TPT4XX Series

The Dynisco TPT4XX Series combines pressure measurement and temperature measurement in a single sensor. Thanks to the integrated temperature sensor, both process or melt pressure and media temperature can be measured directly at the measuring point. This makes the series particularly suitable for applications where pressure and temperature values need to be captured close to the process and within a single mounting hole.

The sensors are designed for media temperatures up to 400 °C and feature a liquid-filled transmission system as well as a flexible capillary between the rigid stem and the electronics housing. The electrical measuring cell is based on a four-arm Wheatstone bridge strain gauge. Depending on the version, the TPT432 model offers ±0.5 % accuracy, while the TPT463 model offers ±1.0 % accuracy. Electrical built-in shunt calibration is also integrated.

The TPT4XX Series is available for pressure ranges from 0…250 psi to 0…30,000 psi. The media-contacting parts are made of 15-5 stainless steel, material no. 1.4545. Mounting thread versions 1/2-20 UNF-2A or M18 × 1.5 are available for installation. The rigid stem / flexible stem version has a stem length of 152 mm and a flexible length of 457 mm between the rigid stem and the housing. Available mounting holes can be used to add additional measurement capability.
