Dynisco MDA4XX Series

The Dynisco MDA4XX Series includes pressure transmitters for reliable process and melt pressure measurement in industrial high-temperature applications. The sensors provide an output signal proportional to the applied process pressure via a sealed, liquid-filled pressure transmission system. The pressure applied by the medium is transmitted through the separating diaphragm and the mercury-filled capillary to the measuring diaphragm.

The deformation of the diaphragm changes the resistance values of the bonded strain gauge. With the applied supply voltage, this generates a signal proportional to the process pressure. The MDA4XX Series combines proven strain gauge technology with a flexible capillary connection between housing and diaphragm as well as a robust stainless steel diaphragm in contact with the media.

The pressure transmitters are suitable for media temperatures up to 400 °C and feature a liquid-filled transmission system as well as an integrated electronic calibration device. Depending on the required accuracy, the MDA435 model with 0.5 % accuracy and the MDA467 model with 1.0 % accuracy are available. The wetted parts are made of DyMax™ coated 15-5 PH stainless steel, material no. 1.4545.
