Dynisco PT460E Series
The Dynisco PT460E Series includes robust pressure transducers for melt pressure applications requiring simple installation, reliable measurements and high repeatability. The sensors provide the industry-standard 3.33 mV/V output signal and are designed to work with most common pressure indicators and readout instruments. Thanks to its proven sensor design, the series is particularly suitable for plastics processing, extrusion and other industrial high-temperature processes.
The PT460E sensors are available for pressure ranges from 0…500 psi to 0…30,000 psi and offer an accuracy of ±0.5 % FSO combined error, including linearity, repeatability and hysteresis. The standard wetted parts are made of DyMax® coated 15-5 PH stainless steel. This coating provides superior abrasion resistance and supports good stability and repeatability of the pressure measurement.
The series features a four-arm bonded foil Wheatstone bridge strain gauge, internal 80 % shunt calibration and a 1/2-20 UNF process thread for simple installation in standard transducer mounting holes. Optional thermocouple or RTD configurations are available to provide melt temperature measurement in addition to pressure measurement. The PT460E can also be supplied with a variety of other electrical connections if required.
