DatasheetThe switched-mode DC-DC converters type 2238.0, 2239.1, 2239.51 and 2239.2 are compact DC voltage converters for wall mounting. They are designed as step-up converters and are suitable for applications where a higher output voltage must be generated from a lower input voltage.
The units cover a rated output power range from 120 to 240 W and are suitable for industrial DC voltage applications, mobile electrical systems and technical installations. Depending on the version, different input voltage ranges and output voltages are available.
Type 2238.0 converts an input voltage of 5 to 8 VDC to 12 VDC and provides an output current of 10 A. Type 2239.1 operates with an input voltage of 11 to 14 VDC and provides 24 VDC at 10 A. Type 2239.51 converts 10.5 to 14.5 VDC to 48 VDC at 5 A. Type 2239.2 operates with an input voltage of 18 to 28 VDC and also provides 48 VDC at 5 A.
The converters are short-circuit protected and do not provide galvanic isolation between input and output. The common negative pole is connected to the housing. The output voltage is proportional to the input voltage. The settling time for load changes from 10 to 100 % is 1.5 ms.
The units are designed for an operating temperature range of 0 to 35 °C and a maximum relative humidity of 85 % at 35 °C. Depending on the version, the units differ in housing design, weight, colour and mounting dimensions. Electrical connection is made via 6.3 mm flat connectors. All versions provide IP30 protection rating and protection class II.
