Datasheet

The 250 FDB 750 M24 is a powerful DC/DC converter with an output power of 250 W. The unit is designed for nominal input voltages of 600 VDC and 750 VDC and provides a regulated output voltage of 24 VDC at an output current of 10 A.

The continuous input voltage range is 400 to 900 VDC. Dynamically, the converter can also handle higher input voltages for a limited time, for example 900 to 950 VDC for 5 minutes or 900 to 1000 VDC for 1 minute. This makes the unit suitable for demanding DC power supply systems with high input voltages.

On the output side, the converter provides a factory-set output voltage of typically 24.0 VDC. The output voltage range is 23.7 to 24.3 VDC. Static regulation accuracy is specified up to ≤ 3 % of the nominal output voltage. Dynamic load regulation is specified for load steps between 20 and 80 % of the nominal output current.

For safe operation, the DC/DC converter provides several protection functions. These include an input fuse, output overvoltage protection, short-circuit resistance and a power-fail signal via relay. The output is protected against overvoltage; the converter switches off when the output voltage exceeds 32.4 V.

The 250 FDB 750 M24 is designed for operation in industrial environments. The operating temperature range is -40 °C to +70 °C, with short-time operation up to +85 °C for 10 minutes according to EN 50155 class Tx. Cooling is by convection. Depending on the version, DIN rail mounting or wall mounting is possible.
