DatasheetThe switched-mode DC-DC converters type 2239.6 and 2239.61 are powerful DC voltage converters for industrial applications, mobile electrical systems and technical installations with 12 VDC supply. The units operate as voltage doublers and convert an input voltage of 10.5 to 14.5 VDC into an output voltage of 24 VDC.
With a rated output power of 720 W, the converters are suitable for applications with high power requirements. Type 2239.6 provides an output current of 20 A, while type 2239.61 provides an output current of 30 A. Current consumption at full load is approx. 45 A or approx. 68 A.
The units are designed for wall mounting and feature a compact housing. Galvanic isolation is not provided; the negative pole is connected to the housing. This makes the converters suitable for systems with a common reference potential where robust and powerful DC/DC conversion is required.
For safe operation, short-circuit protection and overtemperature protection are integrated. Cooling is provided by a switched fan. Type 2239.61 additionally features an LED operating indicator for the output voltage. This version also has E1 approval.
The electrical connections are made via brass bolts. Type 2239.6 uses M5 brass bolts for input and output, while type 2239.61 uses M8 brass bolts. Both versions provide IP30 protection rating and protection class III.
