Dynisco PT460E Series
The Dynisco PT460E Series includes robust melt pressure sensors for applications requiring simple installation, high repeatability and reliable measurements. The sensors provide an industry-standard 3.33 mV/V output signal and are designed to work with most common pressure indicators and readout instruments. This makes the series particularly suitable for pressure measurement in extrusion lines, plastics processing and industrial high-temperature applications.
The PT460E pressure sensors offer an accuracy of ±0.5 % FSO combined error, including linearity, repeatability and hysteresis. The standard wetted parts are made of DyMax® coated 15-5 PH stainless steel. This design supports good wear resistance, stable measurement performance and reliable repeatability during operation.
The series is available for pressure ranges from 0…500 psi to 0…30,000 psi. The sensors feature a four active arm bonded Wheatstone bridge strain gauge, internal 80 % shunt calibration and a 1/2-20 UNF process thread for installation in standard transducer mounting holes. Optional thermocouple or RTD configurations are available to provide melt temperature measurement in addition to pressure measurement.
