Dynisco SPX2242 Pressure Transmitter
The Dynisco SPX2242 is a smart 4…20 mA pressure transmitter for precise pressure measurement in hazardous locations. The all-welded construction is designed for demanding industrial applications and features a 1/2-20 UNF thread for installation in standard transducer mounting holes.
The loop-powered 4…20 mA output allows direct connection to DCS, PLC and other high-level control systems. Optional HART™ communication is available, enabling configuration via a handheld communicator. The integrated signal conditioning eliminates the need for additional external signal conditioning in many applications.
The SPX2242 is available in explosion proof and ATEX / intrinsically safe versions. The SPX2242S intrinsically safe version is approved for II 1 G 100a Ex ia IIC, Zones 0 and 1. The SPX2242E explosion proof version is approved for Class I, Division I, Groups A, B, C and D. Optional thermocouple or RTD configurations are available to provide melt temperature measurement.
