Dynisco SPX-T Series Model 3290

The Dynisco SPX-T 3290 is a smart 4…20 mA pressure transmitter with temperature compensation for precise melt pressure measurement in industrial applications. The model is designed as a button seal Taylor-style replacement flange-mount configuration and is especially suitable for applications requiring a large diaphragm and flange-mounted installation.

The integrated temperature compensation is based on an RTD measurement and compensates for temperature-related variations. In combination with DynaLarity™ technology, process-related effects on the sensor are linearized. This reduces temperature-related drift by up to 80 % compared with non-compensated sensors and significantly improves measurement accuracy. No re-zeroing is required after temperature changes following installation.

The SPX-T 3290 provides an analog 4…20 mA output signal and HART™ communication as standard. Optional temperature outputs are available as RTD or 4…20 mA. Pressure ranges cover 500 psi to 10,000 psi. The all-welded construction, DyMax™ coated 15-5 PH stainless steel diaphragm and optional split flange make the transmitter suitable for demanding flange-mount configurations.
