Dynisco PT460XL Series

The Dynisco PT460XL Series includes robust pressure sensors for abrasive and corrosive melt pressure applications. The sensors are designed for applications requiring simple installation, reliable measurements and high repeatability. With an industry-standard 3.33 mV/V output signal, the PT460XL pressure sensors are designed to work with most common pressure indicators and readout instruments.

A key feature of the PT460XL Series is the Inconel diaphragm. It provides high resistance in demanding media and is especially suitable for processes involving abrasive or corrosive melts. The sensors are available for pressure ranges from 0…3,000 psi to 0…30,000 psi and offer an accuracy of ±1.0 % FSO combined error, including linearity, repeatability and hysteresis.

The PT460XL pressure sensors feature a four active arm bonded Wheatstone bridge strain gauge, internal 80 % shunt calibration and superior temperature stability. Optional thermocouple or RTD configurations are available to provide additional melt temperature measurement. Installation is carried out via a 1/2-20 UNF thread for standard transducer mounting holes.
