DWR25-203 Pressure Monitor, setting range 4…25 bar, switching differential 1.3 … 6.0 bar, max. operating pressure 63 bar

  • Type: DWR25-203
  • Setting range: 4…25 bar
  • Switching differential: 1.3 … 6.0 bar
  • Max. operating pressure: 63 bar
  • Adjustable switching differential: Yes

Datasheet

The pressure monitor DWR25-203 is designed for maximum and minimum pressure monitoring in applications involving fuel gases, liquid fuels, steam, and hot water systems. This type operates in a setting range of 4…25 bar and is designed for a maximum operating pressure of 63 bar.

The DWR series is particularly suitable as a pressure monitor or pressure limiter for fuel gases in accordance with DVGW Worksheet G 260, as well as for liquid fuels, steam systems in accordance with TRBS, and hot water systems in accordance with DIN EN 12828. The devices feature a robust design and are TÜV- and DVGW-approved.

The DWR25-203 version features an adjustable switching differential. The switching differential for this type is 1.3 … 6.0 bar. The DWR series is factory-calibrated for rising pressure. The adjustable switching pressure shown on the scale corresponds to the switching point at rising pressure, while the reset point is lower by the switching differential. On -203 versions, the switching differential is adjustable and the basic calibration remains unchanged.

Technical Data

  • Pressure connection: Male thread G 1/2 (pressure gauge connection) in accordance with DIN 16 288 and female thread G 1/4 in accordance with ISO 228 Part 1. For gas applications, the female thread is only permissible up to 4 bar.
  • Switch housing: Robust housing (200) made of seawater-resistant die-cast aluminum.
  • Materials: Pressure bellows material no. 1.4571, sensor housing material no. 1.4104, switch housing GD Al Si 12 (DIN 1725).
  • Mounting position: Vertical upward or horizontal.
  • Ambient temperature at switch housing: -25…+70 °C.
  • Medium temperature: The maximum medium temperature at the pressure sensor must not exceed the permissible ambient temperature at the switch housing. Temperatures of up to 85 °C are permissible for short periods. Higher medium temperatures are possible if suitable measures, for example a syphon, ensure that the limit values at the switch housing are maintained.
  • Mounting: Directly on the pressure line (pressure gauge connection) or on a flat surface using 2 screws, 4 mm diameter.
  • Adjustment: Switching pressure adjustable externally. See type overview for switching differential values.
  • Burst pressure: At least 100 bar for all types, verified by TÜV test.
  • Contact configuration: Single-pole changeover contact.
  • Switch rating: 250 V AC resistive 8 A, 250 V AC inductive 5 A, 250 V DC resistive 0.3 A, 24 V DC 8 A.
  • Protection class: IP54 according to DIN 40 050.
