The universal pressure switch DCM63-406 is suitable for use in general mechanical engineering, the printing machine industry, as well as in pneumatics and hydraulics. This type covers a setting range of 40…75 bar and is designed for a maximum permissible pressure of 130 bar.
The switching differential is not adjustable for this type and is 0.5 … 3.0 bar.
The DCM/DNM series is designed for overpressure monitoring in industrial applications. The devices have a robust design and can be adjusted externally using a screwdriver. Depending on the version, different materials are used for the pressure-wetted parts.

- Pressure connection: External thread G 1/2 (pressure gauge connection) according to DIN 16 288 and internal thread G 1/4 according to ISO 228 Part 1.
- Switching device: Robust housing (200) made of seawater-resistant die-cast aluminium GD Al Si 12.
- Protection class: IP54 in vertical position.
- Pressure sensor materials: Type-dependent, see product summary in the datasheet.
- Mounting position: Vertically upright and horizontal. DCM4016 and DCM4025 vertically upright.
- Ambient temperature at switching device: -25…+70 °C; DCM4016, DCM4025 and DCM1000: -15…+60 °C.
- Max. medium temperature: The maximum medium temperature at the pressure sensor must not exceed the permitted ambient temperature at the switching device. Short-term temperatures up to 85 °C are possible. Higher medium temperatures are possible if the limit values at the switching device are ensured by suitable measures, for example a siphon.
- Mounting: Directly on the pressure line (pressure gauge connection) or on a flat surface with two 4 mm diameter screws.
- Switching pressure: Adjustable externally with a screwdriver.
- Switching differential: Not adjustable for DCM types. Adjustable externally for DCMV types. See product summary for values.
- Contact arrangement: Single-pole changeover switch.
