The Y Series is a range of transformer clamps whose jaw shape andclamping diameter allow the measurement of alternating currents up to 600 A on cables 30mm indiameter or busbars up to 62×5 mm in installations up to CAT III 600 V or CATIV 300 V.
The Y4N clamp outputs a DC voltage which is particularly useful for multimeters with insufficient V AC or A AC sensitivity.
