Installation of transducers into improperly cleaned or sized holes is one of the major causes of damage to these instruments. With this kit, the .312" tip diameter hole, the 45 degree seating surface, and the .451" hole can be cleaned. The kit includes a gauging plug which is used to verify that the hole has been correctly machined and cleaned. M10 and M18 cleaning kits also available.

Each Button Seal Process Adapter is made to order depending on the provided process mounting port sizing. Flange attachments are available as one piece solid construction, threaded, or threaded & welded. Flange design is application specific and dependent on the process sizing needs of diameter, thickness, bolt-hole diameter, mounting bolt pattern.

Sensor Accessories for Dynisco Sensors
“Sensor accessories” for Dynisco sensors include components and tools necessary for correct installation, connection and integration of pressure, temperature or process sensors. Accessories can include adapters, protection sleeves, cables, connectors, mounting flanges or calibration/test modules. They ensure that sensors operate reliably and safely, even under demanding industrial conditions.
Questions & Answers on Sensor Accessories
What is considered sensor accessory?
Adapters, threaded fittings or flanges, protective or immersion sleeves, cables and connectors, mounting hardware, and sometimes seals or calibration aids.
Why is accessory important?
Because correct mounting and proper connection ensure accurate measurements and safe operation — improper installation can lead to errors, leaks or damage.
Can accessories extend the sensor’s application range?
Yes — for example protective sleeves for corrosive media or high temperatures, or adapters to fit different process interfaces or installation conditions.
Does the accessory need to match the sensor type precisely?
Yes — often adapters or flanges are designed for specific sensor series or dimensions to guarantee functionality, sealing and safety.
How is accessory installed?
Using standard process connections (threads, flanges), with seals or mounting rings if necessary; cables/connectors mounted as required — often together with protective or mounting elements.
When should accessories be used?
When sensors are installed in harsh environments, with corrosive media, high temperature / pressure, or when special mounting conditions (long sensor shaft, remote cable routing, protective housing) are needed.
What are the risks without correct accessory?
Measurement errors, leaks, premature wear or failure, safety hazards — overall reduced measurement reliability and operational safety.
Who needs sensor accessories?
Operators of plants using sensors — especially in plastic processing, mechanical engineering, process industries or any demanding industrial environment where sensors undergo strong conditions.
