EX-VNM111 Ex vacuum switch -1…0.1 bar

  • The Ex-VCM and Ex-VNM series are calibrated for falling pressure.
  • The adjustable switching pressure on the scale corresponds to the switching point at falling pressure.
  • The reset point is higher by the amount of the switching differential.
  • Suitable for vacuum monitoring in potentially explosive atmospheres.

Operating instructions

Ex-VCM / Ex-VNM vacuum switches

FEMA vacuum switches detect the pressure differential relative to atmospheric pressure. The reference point “zero” on the device scale corresponds to the respective atmospheric pressure.

Ex-VCM / Ex-VNM vacuum switches detect the pressure differential relative to atmospheric pressure. All information on switching pressure ranges and the scale graduations on the switching devices are to be understood as the pressure differential between the respective atmospheric pressure and the set switching pressure. The reference point “zero” on the device scale corresponds to the respective atmospheric pressure. The devices feature a robust housing made from seawater-resistant die-cast aluminium GD Al Si 12.

Certifications

  • SIL2 according to IEC 61508-2
  • IBExU12ATEX1040 according to ATEX 2014/34/EU
  • IECEx IBE 14.0077
